INSPECTION & METROLOGY

Our Quality Assurance system is vigorously applied to ensure accuracy and consistency of the finished products.
Our Inspection and Metrology Department is responsible for assuring that the products conform to the specifications provided by our customers.

The Inspection Department is integrated with every other department in the shop for in-process inspection, which permits us to monitor quality through every step of the manufacturing process. Our operators are also trained in the use of inspection tools and equipment.
Our Inspection equipment, which is calibrated in a periodic basis, insures the accuracy required by our customers. All of our calibration is traceable to NIST standards.

Granite surface tables accurate to 0.0002” are used for inspection, together with optical and digital tooling equipment. Inspection tools, measuring instruments and gauges are kept in a temperature controlled area to insure consistent measurement of close tolerance parts.
